my first season growing the next generation from my own saved seed, and the young plants are looking terrific, showing the beautiful potato-leaf foliage characteristic of this variety.

Ukrainian Giant is a mid-season heirloom producing large, flattened tomatoes with distinctive dusky brown shoulders, which is why it is sometimes referred to as Ukrainian Giant Black.
