Tomato seedling orders for courier delivery have now closed for the 2026 season.

When shipping is available, seedlings are carefully packed in boxes of six and sent by overnight, non-signature courier to minimise their time in transit.

Rural delivery includes the $6 rural surcharge. If you regularly visit a non-rural workplace, friend or whānau address, you’re welcome to have your seedlings delivered there instead. This saves the rural surcharge and may also reduce their time in transit.

Rural seedling delivery costs an additional $6 and may take longer than delivery to an urban address.

Tomato seed packets are sent throughout New Zealand by NZ Post.

During the tomato seedling shipping season, customers ordering a box of six seedlings can include seed packets in the same parcel, without paying separate seed postage.

Tomato seedling courier orders have closed for the 2026 season, but seed packets remain available to order year-round.

Please allow extra time for rural seed-only deliveries.

If something isn't right when your order arrives, please contact me as soon as possible.

For live seedlings, please take photos of the plants and packaging when you open the box so I can see what has happened.

Yes! Free local collection is available from Rawene, Hokianga, when tomato seedlings are in season.

Please contact me to confirm availability and arrange a collection time before travelling.

Seed packets remain available to order throughout the year. Postage is preferred for seeds but pick-ups can be arranged for locals.

Our heirloom tomato seedlings are grown seasonally here in Hokianga, with courier delivery available during the spring growing season.

When orders reopen, delivery dates and availability will be announced on the Tomato Love website.
